Annually, the Peabody Education Foundation hosts a Career Day to give students from PVMHS exposure to professions or fields that they may know little about.  In a tradeshow format,  students can visit with area professionals and tradesmen, to learn  what specific job/profession entails, educational requirements and potential salary ranges.  Participating businesses bring visuals such as completed projects, pictures of people in action, tools of the trade, etc. to aid the students in fully comprehending the scope of a profession or field of work. The event is held each April,  targeting Sophomore students who are just beginning to think about future careers and who have recently taken a career aptitude test.
