We are thrilled to announce a $30,000 donation from North Shore Bank to bring the district-wide Wayfinder program to Peabody Public Schools! Selected through the work of Peabody PROMISE, this PreK–12 curriculum gives students essential tools to support mental health, build resilience, and strengthen their sense of belonging.
This initiative wouldn’t be possible without North Shore Bank’s generous support and shared commitment to the well-being of Peabody’s youth. Together, we’re investing in a brighter, healthier future for our students, families, and community.

The JB Thomas-Lahey Foundation
The JB Thomas-Lahey Foundation supported the advancement of STEM education and mental wellness through a generous $25,000 donation to the Peabody Education Foundation. This donation supported our Mental Wellness Initiative, which provides reading materials, motivational speakers, and other resources to help our schools address mental health needs. Their contribution also helped fund the Science From Scientists program, which aimed to inspire and educate young minds by bringing hands-on science lessons into classrooms.
By investing in this initiative, the JB Thomas-Lahey Foundation fostered a love of learning and supported the next generation of innovators!
The Gravel Family Foundation
The Gravel Family Foundation generously donated $10,000 to support the Science From Scientists program. This funding brought hands-on STEM learning and mental wellness programming directly into our classrooms, sparking curiosity, building confidence, and inspiring a lifelong love of learning.
