2020 will long be remembered as the year of the “Pandemic”…
School closures and social isolation have affected students of all ages. Teachers are being faced with figuring out how to help their students recover and stay on track throughout the school year even though their lives continue to be disrupted by the pandemic. Some students participate in online learning while others face obstacles such as a lack of internet access and their learning progress is hindered. Social interaction with other children is frowned upon and with winter coming outside activity will be severely restricted.
The mission of the Peabody Education Foundation is to enhance the quality of public education in the Peabody Public Schools. With this mission in mind, The PEF is launching a new initiative, “Help Us Help Our Kids”.
Our Goal & How You Can Help:
Our goal is to work with school administrators, teachers, and parents to find ways we can make an impact on our children’s lives during this unprecedented time.
We are reaching out to the public to raise funds to help ease the financial burden faced by the Peabody School Department.
Let us work together to do something to reverse the effects of this horrible pandemic and do something positive.
